Advantageous Projects for Application of MB Modifier Concrete
It is recommended to apply MB concrete under the following working and operation conditions:
When erecting load–carrying and protecting structures for transportation, industrial and civil construction, including underground and hydro technical structures;
When erecting monolith mass of reinforced concrete with surface modulus less than 3 which shall meet the requirements of providing the low heat kinetics;
When erecting constructions of low permeability concrete (water tightness brands W12–W20), increased corrosion resistance and frost resistance together with high strength;
When erecting constructions of concrete of high (classes B45–B60) and super–high (classes over B60) strength applying workable concrete mixtures;
When providing high early compressive strength (25–30 MPa level at the age of 1–2 days) enough for demoulding and loading of structures;
When erecting special structures using highly plastic concrete mixtures not subject to seggregation;
When erecting pre–stressed reinforced concrete structures considering the possibility of early transfer of external pull to concrete;
When laying protection coats of high density and strength using the method of pneumatic concreting (shotcreting) and for rehabilitation works on key structures;
When erecting unique structures of disperse–reinforced concrete of high and very–high strength;
When erecting structures of extra–low permeability for preservation and burying of waste products including radioactive.
